Instagram, the mobile photo-sharing app acquired by Facebook in April, announced on its blog they have surpassed 80 million users who have shared nearly 4 billion photos. The site launched October 2010 and has expanded from one platform to two when adding the Android app to the existing iOS app.

Email marketing, while still a prominent marketing tool, is most effective today as a nurturing platform than for acquiring leads, according to research conducted by Pardot, a leading provider of marketing automation for small and mid-sized businesses. Pardot conducted an online survey in June of 2012 to determine the role of email in B2B marketing strategies. Mobile phone advertising could highjack your contacts, reports CNN Money. Often disguised as a text, they sometimes change browser settings and bookmarks and then upload contact lists. Although it’s not a big problem, yet, it is growing.
