The sale of Newsweek Magazine by the Washington Post Company was memorialized by two stylish commemorative pieces, produced by Dimension Creative Promotions.

A single Lucite block presented the news release announcing the sale, printed on acetate embedded inside, along with the dollar coin representing the purchase.

The top staff of Newsweek received an acrylic sculpture made out of two acrylic panels, printed digitally in full color. On one side was the famous July 2001 Newsweek cover, commemorating publisher Katharine Graham, and on the other the magazine masthead. The assembly was mounted on an acrylic base and presented as a freestanding shelf piece.
