Limor believes in the Great Convergence – of digital and real worlds, of myriad technologies and of industries which were formerly in different silos – coming together to create more robust, rich, engaging experiences. As president of KTG, Limor Schafman brings strategic business activation methodologies to bear on behalf of two groups: 1. technology companies from start-up to Fortune 500 seeking to convert technology into profit and the funding to do it; 2. Non-technology companies, such as organizations, retail, and traditional media companies helping to unveil the Great Convergence and what it means for them. The goals are always to brand, market, sell and derive and drive new revenue. She focuses on bringing to market and employing - with marketing and sales objectives - proven and new, innovative, interactive technologies and tools in digital media, mobile, wireless, games, augmented reality, and Web 2.0-4.0. Limor shifted her career from international business attorney, working in Paris France, to marketing strategist in 1994. She entered the sector of digital media and entertainment technology in Los Angeles, working on the production of two full motion video games, followed by becoming director of marketing and business development for a theme park design/build company.

Limor began her entrepreneurial ventures nine years ago leading and funding a team to develop a sports video game hardware peripheral/software application product. She formed the KeystoneTech Group consultancy in 2002 to use her creative, production and marketing savvy for companies starting up and expanding their business.

With an eye always on multi-disciplinary, cultural and international trends, she is founder and chief instigator of the Games Gateway Serious Games Meetup (Washington DC), immediate past president and Honorary Chair of the IPv6 Forum for Israel, past president of the World Future Society D.C. Chapter, and is actively involved with the Distributed Computing Information Association [P2P], Venture Mentors, and the Northern Virginia Technology Council.

Some videos interviews that you may find informative:

Just came in from the Disruptathon event in Tysons Corner and interviewed Ven Chava or AirArts, the makers of TalkingTag.  Marketers will find this quite interesting.  Also see what I write about this on DigInBlog.com regarding the use of 2D/QR codes as a form of Augmented Reality by Esquire.
