     Matthew Borkoski Photography

Matthew is known for his imagination, versatility and technical expertise. Creating images for leading corporate, editorial, design  and advertising clients over an award-winning career spanning nearly twenty two years, he has gained a national reputation as a visual artist and master communicator.

Matthew's clients have included Lockheed Martin, Gannett, General Dynamics, Radisson Hotel, The US Army, Exxon Mobil, Stihl, Trex, Verizon and Westinghouse, as well as many small businesses and private and governmental organizations across the country. Editors and art directors who need to cut through today's complex layering of audiences and markets trust Matthew to find the ideal visual approach to deliver their messages effectively.

Subjects of all ages and walks of life, from pop and corporate culture to politics and technology—all are seen in new, inspiring and insightful ways through Matthew's lens. This ability to communicate comes from a deep understanding of the technical elements of his craft combined with a keen appreciation of the worlds of art, drama and design.

When an enhanced sense of impact or emotional intensity is required, Matthew's virtuosity also extends to the deft use of digital media. Advanced techniques and the latest trends haven't altered his fundamental approach, however. "Technical developments over the past decade have revolutionized the industry, but great photography still demands vision, intuition, and a clear, creative thought process throughout to bring all of the necessary elements together."

Working for such a diverse clientele always presents new challenges. Matthew takes pride in accepting the most difficult assignments. Regardless of variables such as extreme weather, remote locations, logistical problems, and even physical risks—patience, planning and attention to detail are constants. "Whatever it takes."

Matthew's clients have learned that nothing is impossible to photograph. He has proved it time and time again, from the hot salt flats of a Northrop Grumman testing range in
Utah to the monsoon-force rains that soaked a Radisson Hotel shoot in Florida. Each assignment is met with the same dedication and originality; each image is as unique as the client it represents. "I work closely with my clients to understand their goals and target markets so I can create images that not only work for them but speak directly and powerfully to their audiences."
