Feld Entertainment, the live-event producer of events like the Ringling Bros. Circus and Disney On Ice, has issued an open RFP to review its six-figure national PR account, reports odwyerpr.com.
According to the odwyerpr.com report:
Feld is looking for a firm with a strong presence or affiliate network in New York, Los Angeles and D.C., to handle strategic counsel, national media relations, celebrity outreach and other services for the company and its brands. (Hill & Knowlton has handled the account for the past six or seven years, but will not be part of this agency search.)
Base PR retainer is expected to be $30K a month plus monthly expenses of up to $7K. A two-year contract is planned.
Firms must have entertainment and sports work on their resumes, along with experience in working with companies that have multiple (and sometimes competing) brands.
Agencies that work with animal rights or activist groups will not be considered.
