The Obama administration came into office with a commitment to work with other countries to mitigate the problem of global climate change. The United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen has been a unique forum for the United States to spotlight this new approach and present its policies to a sometimes skeptical global audience.
GVI created a short documentary for the U.S. Department of State to make the most of this opportunity. The video examined public and private initiatives across the country designed to mitigate climate change. GVI’s crews went on location to tape stories on carbon capture and storage, bio-fuels, electric cars, smart grids, weatherization and solar, wind and nuclear power. The full video can be viewed here.
