Bob Evans Restaurants and Food Products named Brunner as its advertising agency of record, reports DMNews. The multimillion-dollar account was won following a competitive review. The account will be handled by Brunner's offices in Pittsburgh, Washington, DC, and Atlanta. Mary Cusick, SVP of restaurant marketing for Bob Evans, told DMNews that one of the goals for Bob Evans is to contemporize the brand, which launched in 1962. Cusick said that the majority of the company's advertising is done through traditional channels like broadcast, TV and radio, but that the company also does digital online advertising, some e-mail, social and interactive marketing. “We haven't cracked the code on how to use social media most effectively, so that's something we'll work with Brunner on,” she said.
