Merrick Towle Communications has been retained by Messiah Village, one of the oldest continuous-care retirement communities in the country, located in Mechanicsburg, PA. The agency will focus on a comprehensive brand repositioning initiative, as well as the design and implementation of an integrated online campaign targeted at prospective residents, clients and their families that will include Messiah Village's first-ever search engine optimization strategy and a program of blogs. Kristen M. Heisey, vice president of marketing and communications at Messiah Village, said, “Embracing social media to connect and engage with our target audience is an exciting and timely evolution of our marketing strategy.”

 

Warschawski, a Baltimore-based agency, has been hired by Buster Sports, a Raleigh-based fan website covering college football and basketball.  Warschawski will build a strategic brand position for the company while developing and executing brand-centric communications campaigns to reach college football and basketball fans nationwide.

  

”Buster Sports creates an online tailgate-like community where college football and basketball super fans can share their opinions and school pride while interacting with coaches, experts and other fans,” said Howard Sadel, vice president of marketing and sales for Buster Sports Communications, Inc.   

 

Buster Sports is an interactive site (www.bustersports.com) for fans of football and basketball teams in the six NCAA conferences that are included in the BCS.  The site offers free and subscription expert coverage from well-known veteran NCAA coaches, bloggers and staff writers through reports and editorials as well as audio and video programming.  Fans are able to interact with experts and with one another on the site through user generated content, chat applications and more.
