The event was attended by friends, family, present and former agency employees (shown above), Williams Whittle clients, and many in the advertising community. In his introduction, Michael Jack, president and general manager of NBC Universal/WRC-TV, said a colleague described Whittle as having an "insatiable appetite for the (advertising) business". A client told us, "they never stop listening."
Whittle told the attendees that the advertising business today "is more challenging and interesting than it ever has been." Whittle's observations about his many years in advertising are posted in the Insights section of the Capitol Communicator.
