The Washington Metropolitan Area Corporate Counsel Association (WMACCA), the largest regional bar and professional association for in-house lawyers working in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, has appointed Allison & Partners as its new agency of record.
Allison & Partners’ D.C.-based office will provide public relations support that augments WMACCA’s status as the premier legal organization for corporate counselors. The robust media relations initiative will leverage the expertise and insight of WMACCA’s 1,700 members via comprehensive thought leadership, speaker’s bureau, social media, and byline programs in a variety of practice areas, including bankruptcy, healthcare, immigration, commercial transactions, biotech, construction, employment and labor, government contracts, intellectual property and more.

WMACCA is part of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), the world’s largest organization serving the professional and business interests of attorneys who practice in the legal departments of corporations, associations and other private-sector organizations around the globe. WMACCA’s 1,650 members hail from more than 700 private-sector organizations, making it the largest ACC regional chapter.
