-Leading Authorities, Inc. and Fleishman-Hillard announced a strategic partnership to help clients obtain a greater return on investment from large association conferences, meetings, conventions and trade shows - through increased advance interest, attendance and, ultimately, revenue. Building upon their depth of experience in supporting trade and professional associations and industry-wide events, the two firms will offer a comprehensive suite of services to make any industry or association meeting a greater success - for attendees and organizers alike.  "Economic conditions are placing tremendous pressure on meetings, conventions and other events - for the organizations that sponsor them, and the individuals who attend them,' said Bill Pendergast, general manager of Fleishman-Hillard Washington, DC. "Yet these events play a critical role for associations and industry-wide organizations, creating member value, driving non-dues revenue, and advancing the agenda."

-PRWeb announced it had added four additional distribution partners to its press release distribution and syndication network.  PRWeb’s network includes an audience of more than two million visitors each month on PRWeb.com, 250,000 RSS subscribers, and 35,000 reporters and bloggers.  The new partners include Docstoc, State Newslines, Trust Earned Travel and Visibility and are significant because of their (respective) vertical market focus which will allow PRWeb customers to better segment and target their news distribution. -PhotoShelter just did an article about local photog Randy Santos.  In the piece, Randy says that one of the keys to success is to differentiate yourself. “Set yourself apart from the masses.  Clients need to remember you for something special.  Provide the content breadth, or quality photos, or the best possible service, or simply speak their language - and this all adds up to value.  And when you are providing value, you can charge a premium.   You build relationships and long term clients.  And they refer you to other people, which is the best advertising in the world.”  You can check out the whole piece at: http://blog.photoshelter.com/corp/2009/07/building-a-monumental-photo-bu.html
