FotoWeek DC announced that the second annual FotoWeek DC Awards has expanded from a regional competition to an international call for entries of remarkable imagery, both in single and series form, as well as multimedia pieces that combine the strength of still images with video, sound and graphics. So much profound work has been created by photographers from around the globe they felt they needed to include this work in their awards and festival.
FotoWeek DC is open to professionals, amateurs, and students around the world - with $21,500 in cash awards. There will be an international panel of judges and 12 separate categories.
The awards ceremony will be Nov. 5 at the National Geographic.
Enter by July 26th for 20% discount. The final awards deadline is September 13th.
