MDB Communications was honored to host the International Center for Journalists’ Serbian media delegation, some shown above, on June 11.
The US Embassy in Belgrade made a special request for the group to visit a prominent ad agency in DC. The group was very interested in learning how a full-service U.S. ad agency works with U.S. media outlets and leverages all available media platforms to serve its clients.
Program Officer Ting Wang of the International Center for Journalists coordinated the visit, which included six senior media managers from key broadcasting and print media outlets in Serbia, including Politika Daily, Vojvodina, TV FOX Serbia, Nina Media Novi Sad, VIP News Services, and Radio Television of Serbia. The executives were escorted by Bojan Trickovic, a media specialist from the U.S. embassy in Belgrade.
Seth Niman, director of creative media at MDB, shared his thoughts on the latest media trends, and innovative media planning and strategies. Richard Coad, MDB’s executive creative director, addressed leveraging “the big idea” through emerging media venues.
In a follow-up letter from Ms. Wang, she wrote: “I accompanied the group to Los Angeles following their stay in DC. When asked by the Publisher/CEO of LA Business Journal towards the end of their trip what organization had impressed and inspired the group most, the immediate vote from several media managers was MDB! They cited your company’s incredibly innovative thinking and amazing operational efficiency, at the core of your success, major sources of inspiration to them.”
While in DC, the delegation also visited USA Today, The Washington Post and the American Advertising Federation.
