- Design Army reports a number of developments, including an award for the Capitol Communicator logo, which Design Army developed, that won the HOW International Design Competition; as well as for a logo for National Center for Responsible Gaming and the Design Army Good Move/Bad Move announcement; Neenah paper awarded Design Army a Silver Award for its Good Move/Bad Move announcement in Neenah Paper's Competition Text and Cover Contest (Third Quarter); Design Army designed a new biannual Bride & Groom magazine for the Washingtonian that will premiere in December; and, owners Jake and Pum Lefebure, pictured above, recently were named to the Washingtonian’s best dressed list - they were featured in "doubletake" in the magazine's October issue.
 
- Warschawski, a Baltimore-based agency, announced that it has been named as one of the top-20 “Best Agencies to Work For” in the country by The Holmes Report. The firm was ranked the seventh-best boutique or small agency to work for in the country and the 19th best agency overall. This marks the seventh straight year that Warschawski has ranked among the top-20 “Best Agencies to Work For” in the country and among the top-10 “Best Boutique Agencies to Work For.”
 
- John Hellerman, co-founder of Hellerman Baretz Communications, was named Agency Executive of the Year by PR News. The firm also was recently named to Inc. Magazines prestigious annual ranking of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. Additionally, the firm, with offices in DC and NYC, received several awards this year for its work in the legal industry, including honors by PR News, PR Week, the Legal Marketing Association, Bulldog Reporter, and The Communicator.
