The deal between Livingston Communications and Canada's Social Media Group, which had been hailed as the creation of the largest social media communications agency, has been called off. Livingston said "it became apparent that our two cultures and management style were not going to work well together. … And to continue forward we would have been forcing square pegs into round holes and would be detrimental to both the team up in Toronto as well as mine here in Washington, D.C.”
