- Jennifer Cortner, (right) president of EFX Media, joins Discovery Communications, Inc., to head its internal creative agency. Cortner, who joined Arlington-based EFX Media in 1987, will be director of global accounts for Silver Spring-based Discovery Creative Resources. EFX CEO Jim Franco (left) assumes the additional title of president.
- Madeline Beck joins Low + Associates as a senior account executive. Previously, she worked at Ruben Postaer and Associates in LA. Beck’s advertising career began at Young & Rubicam in New York.
