--Shonali Burke, a PR consultant, will be adjunct faculty at Johns Hopkins University this summer for JHU’s highly-regarded M.A. in Communications program. She will be teaching a 12-week course on integrating offline and online communications for non-profits.
- Pava Cohen has joined Sage Communications as VP. She most recently was VP at ENC Marketing & Communications and, before that, was VP/sales & marketing at Omnistudio.
- Daniel Drummond, above, new head of the DC office of Allison & Partners, was profiled in “New at the Top” in The Washington Post on Dec. 1. He had been senior VP at Powell Tate.
- Felix Laboy, president & CEO, E-site Marketing in Bethesda, has been named among the “Top 25 Most Extraordinary Minds in Sales and Marketing” by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International for 2008. The sixth annual list recognizes the “best of the best” minds in the hospitality, travel and tourism industries.
