The Design-Build Institute of America hired Environics Communications as its national PR agency.
DC-based DBIA is a membership association of design and construction industry leaders, and public and private building and infrastructure owners, who use design-build project delivery for office buildings, stadiums, healthcare and education facilities, transportation and water infrastructure, and other construction projects.Under the design-build method, designers and builders collaborate from project start to completion. Design-build contracts reflect this integrated approach: the owner signs a single contract that includes both design and construction services. Design-build is a streamlined and cost-effective alternative to the design-bid-build method in which owners contract for design and construction services separately and sequentially.
Environics Communications has been hired to increase understanding and use of design-build project delivery, and to promote the value of DBIA membership and education, including the Designated Design-Build Professional and Designated Design-Build Associate certifications.
