The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) has chosen ZilYen to support its new American Archive initiative through design of its website platform.  American Archive is an aggressive effort designed to preserve audiovisual assets of American history, through an accessible system, that will make it easily available for use throughout the entire public media system.  Audiences for the site will include public media stations, independent producers and the national organizations and associations that serve the public media system that include PBS, NPR, the Library of Congress and the National Archives, among others.

ZilYen will design the website that will educate future users about the site's capabilities, keep them abreast of implementation and funding developments, and serve as a foundation for the larger public media online community.  The site is expected to launch after the first of next year.

"ZilYen is excited to be able to support CPB's efforts to preserve the availability of America's history over the spans of time and numerous technology changes.  We have long stood behind public broadcasting's brand and their products, and we are very happy to be able to directly support their success." said Jeff Caporizzo, ZilYen's vice president and creative director.
