The DC Chapter of the American Marketing Association reached a significant milestone that supersedes its national organization - American Marketing Association - as AMADC celebrates its 80th anniversary this year while the national organization turns 75.

To mark this special anniversary, AMADC, in partnership with the Washington Business Journal, is celebrating greater Washington’s best marketing professionals. The 80th Anniversary Top Marketer Awards Gala will provide a platform for DC’s top marketers to be honored for their most creative and innovative marketing projects. Honorees will be showcased at the gala and featured in a special custom section in the Washington Business Journal.

The 80th Anniversary Top Marketer Awards Gala will be held Thursday, October 25, at the Carnegie Institution for Science. This event will feature fine cuisine, music, an open bar and the coveted Top Marketer Awards.

Ticket costs are as follows: $55 for AMADC members and $80 for non-members through the early bird deadline of Sept. 28. After the deadline, ticket costs are $80 for AMADC members and $110 for non-members. Tickets may be purchased by visiting: www.amadc.org/80thanniversary.
