Capping off Advertising Week DC 2012, four teams of young professionals from four agencies went head-to-head at ADprentice Challenge, pitching their most creative marketing strategies for DCBeer.com. Put to an audience vote, àl a American Idol, iostudio was named the winner for their "Drink. Brew. Debate." campaign, positioning DCBeer.com as the leading authority on everything craft beer.
Given just 10 minutes to present, iostudio's Lindsey Schwalb, Bryan Detwiler, Kerry Kessler and Josh Hernandez won over the judging panel and the crowd with their innovative plan to promote and monetize the website. The winning team devised a strategy that leverages a variety of media, from a broadcast spot to outdoor ads to on-premise beer labels and coasters, using creative messaging that speaks to the craft beer aficionado and casual beer drinker alike.
iostudio will introduce its integrated marketing campaign in Q1 of 2013, with donated media carried by Comcast Spotlight, Hutzpah Media and CSI.
