Genetic Alliance, a nonprofit health advocacy organization committed to transforming health through genetics, is partnering with Environics Communications to build national awareness for its “Baby’s First Test” program. Environics will develop and implement a campaign to expand awareness of the Baby’s First Test program, resources and website. The agency’s work will include strategic messaging, traditional media relations, and social media outreach to help fulfill the mission of the center of reaching and engaging the public. Baby’s First Test is the nation’s center on newborn screening, connecting millions of parents and healthcare providers with resources and information relevant to more than 4 million newborns screened annually. This central resource provides quality information in an accessible and meaningful way to help parents and family members of newborns, health professionals, industry representatives, and the public navigate the NBS system.
Rodney Ferguson, who played a critical role in the growth of the D.C. office of Lipman Hearne, is rejoining the firm. Ferguson, who founded Lipman Hearne’s D.C. office in 1999, is returning as Principal after serving at the Brunswick Group for the past two years.
