WTOP 103.5 FM announced that Program Director Laurie Cantillo was named as one of the “Most Influential Female Programmers in Radio” in the June 18 edition of industry trade magazineRadio Ink. “We know Laurie is one of the most admired people – not just female - in radio, but it’s always great to have it recognized by the industry,” says WTOP VP of Programming Jim Farley.

Joan Melner has been appointed director of marketing at The Endocrine Society, the world’s oldest, largest and most active organization devoted to research on hormones and the clinical practice of endocrinology. Prior to this appointment, Joan was at the Council for Exceptional Children, AABB (formerly the American Association of Blood Banks), ZERO TO THREE, and Burson-Marsteller. Her early career began as a Speech/Language Pathologist.

MGH adds six employees, including Deborah Dalcin, web developer; Danielle Davis, PR account executive; Sara Fisher, proofreader; Beth Jackson, VP/account director; Kimberly Leech, media assistant; and Marah Schmitz, account coordinator.
