Twitter is buzzing with people venting their frustration about blocked live coverage of the Olympics. NASA will make history as its most advanced planetary rover lands on Mars next week. Earlier this week, it announced that NASA TV would be broadcasting the landing live in Times Square starting late Sunday night. The Twitter Political Index is the newest tool for measuring social media sentiment surrounding the two presidential candidates. According to PC World, the tool sorts through 400 million tweets per day and assigns each candidate a score in addition to tracking their points gained and lost throughout the week. The one pitfall is its inability to detect sarcasm, but it still correctly categorizes human sentiment 90% of the time.

Excitement is starting to build as more information comes to light about the iPhone 5. This week, one Chinese forum uploaded a video they claimed to be of the iPhone 5 front display, which offers a display area of 4.065 inches (compared the iPhone 4’s 3.6 inches) and .1mm increase in glass thickness.
