Ruder Finn is working with the Linthicum-based American Urological Association Foundation on "It's Time to Talk About OAB," a nationwide education campaign to elevate awareness of Overactive Bladder (OAB), a common, yet often untreated condition, as a public health issue. As many as 30 percent of men and 40 percent of women in the U.S. have the condition. The campaign's goal is two-fold: help patients better understand OAB symptoms and de-stigmatize the condition so that patients feel comfortable initiating a conversation with their healthcare professional - ultimately leading to diagnosis and treatment.

Lane Bailey, former president of public affairs at GolinHarris and prior to that chief of staff for Sen. John D. Rockefeller IV (D-WV), and A.J. Donelson, who previously managed the growth of two independent public affairs firms into acquisitions by publicly traded companies and is the former head of 3M's Washington government relations office, announced the official launch of Advocom Group, a new global advocacy and communications agency. Advocom Group’s goal is to help clients achieve success through the integration and leveraging of government affairs, corporate leadership, and capital markets strategies. With offices in D.C., New York, Beijing, and Brussels, Advocom Group already has clients in health care, food safety, manufacturing, technology, telecommunications and financial sectors.

Crosby Marketing Communications adds Tim Staines as a Digital Integration Supervisor and Alexx Weincek as a Digital Artist. Prior to joining Crosby, Staines served as a Senior eMarketing specialist with Maxim Healthcare Services. Weincek comes to Crosby from Integrated Designs Corporation.

Environics Communications adds Shakirah Holley and Merrick Kranz as digital media specialists. Holley joins Environics from Equal Justice Works, a nonprofit helping law students and lawyers provide effective representation for underserved communities and causes. Kranz comes from the Transport Workers Union and prior to that position Kranz worked at Susan Davis International.
